Our Dental Services - Tooth Coloured Fillings
This procedure (done in one visit) restores individual teeth which have decayed, chipped, stained or eroded on the edges and where most of the remaining tooth is sound or intact. This is a relatively low cost procedure that can be done in one appointment. The fillings are made of a very durable tooth colored composite resin and the material is hardened by a light curing process.

Procedure
The teeth are prepared by removal of decay or existing fillings and then the colored filling material is placed and shaped while in a soft putty like consistency. The filling material is then "cured" or hardened using a dental device which emits an intense blue light over the teeth. The final shaping and polishing of the hardened filling material can be done to smooth the surfaces.
